Photography is an art of
observation. Among other things, it's about finding interesting subjects
in ordinary places. Photography, however, has little to do with the things we see,
but EVERYTHING to do with the way we see things.
Originally from the Islands of The Bahamas, Winston received a Diploma in Professional Photography ('89)
from the New York Institute
of Photography, and a Diploma in Applied Photography ('90) from the Art Institute of Ft. Lauderdale. He is a former
print media and
broadcast Journalist, but retired as Consul General after two decades in the Diplomatic Service of The
Bahamas.
Winston is an alumnus of the Catholic University of America, and the University of Miami.
